A battery pack is disclosed that includes a battery receiving frame. The frame is a single integral piece comprising two end cap portions and two spine portions, and may be molded from a flexible thermoplastic. One of the two spines has free end, allowing that spine to be flexed so as to create an opening for insertion of electrochemical cells into the frame. The pack optionally includes the application of a label to portions of the frame and cells. The battery pack frame is molded from thermoplastic resin material. The material may be a mixer of a polyolefin matrix comprising more than 30 weight percent of the thermoplastic material and an aromatic polymer having a repeating unit that comprises at least one aromatic functional group. In one embodiment, the polyolefin is a polypropylene and the aromatic polymer is a poly(phenylene oxide).
L'invention concerne une ensemble de piles comprenant une ossature de réception de pile. Cette ossature est d'une seule pièce et comprend deux parties de capuchon d'extrémité et deux parties formant une arête, et peut être moulée à partir d'un thermoplastique souple. L'une des deux arêtes présente une extrémité libre, permettant à cette arête d'être fléchie, de sorte à créer une ouverture pour une insertion de piles électrochimiques dans l'ossature. L'ensemble comprend éventuellement l'application d'une étiquette sur des parties de l'ossature et des piles. L'ossature d'ensemble de piles est moulée à partir d'une matière en résine thermoplastique. Cette matière peut être un mélange d'une matrice de polyoléfine comprenant plus de 30 % en poids de la matière thermoplastique et d'un polymère aromatique présentant une unité de répétition comprenant au moins un groupe fonctionnel aromatique. Dans un mode de réalisation, la polyoléfine est un polypropylène et le polymère aromatique est un poly(phénylène oxyde).
