A web comprised of lyocell fibers. The web may be a homogeneous blend of fibers with lyocell fibers having a length of less than about 6 mm as a portion of the blend. The web may be a multi layered single ply with lyocell fibers in one or more layers. The web (10) may be composed of multiple plies (15), with component plies composed of multiple layers (18, 19). The length and proportion of the lyocell fibers in the respective layers (18, 19) of the component plies (15) may vary intentionally from layer to layer.

L'invention concerne une feuille obtenue à partir de fibres cellulosiques à haute ténacité. Cette feuille peut être constituée d'un mélange homogène de fibres formé en partie de fibres cellulosiques à haute ténacité dont la longueur est inférieure à 6 mm environ. La feuille peut comporter un seul jet multicouche contenant des fibres cellulosiques à haute ténacité dans une ou plusieurs des couches. La feuille (10) peut également comporter plusieurs jets (15) constitués de plusieurs couches (18, 19). La longueur et la proportion des fibres cellulosiques à haute ténacité dans les couches respectives (18, 19) des jets (15) peut varier intentionnellement d'une couche à une autre.
