A process for making phenolic resins via calcium hydroxide catalysis with no filtration step. The result is obtained by retaining the calcium species precipitation through the combined use of a chelating/sequestering agent and an anionic polymer dispersant. The resulting resins are stable in storage and have an excellent water tolerance.

Un procédé de fabrication de résines phénoliques de catalyse par hydroxyde alcalino-terreux (hydroxyde de calcium) ne comportant aucune étape de filtration. Ce résultat est obtenu en retenant la précipitation des espèces calciques par l'utilisation conjuguée d'un chélatant/séquestrant et d'un polymère anionique dispersant. Les résines obtenues sont stables au stockage et ont une excellente tolérance à l'eau.
