A monoclonal antibody against human thrombopoietins (TPO); a method of purifying TPO by isolating TPO from TPO-containing substances by affinity chromatography using the antibody; and methods of immunochemically quantifying and detecting TPO by using the antibody. The use of the anti-TPO monoclonal antibody enables various human TPO molecules to be purified, detected and quantified.
Cette invention concerne un anticorps monoclonal pouvant être utilisé contre les thrombopoïétines (TPO) chez l'homme, un procédé de purification des TPO qui consiste à isoler ces derniers des substances qui les contiennent par chromatographie d'affinité et à l'aide dudit anticorps, ainsi que des procédés d'immuno-chimie visant à quantifier et à détecter les TPO à l'aide de ce même anticorps. Le recours à l'anticorps monoclonal anti-TPO permet de purifier, de détecter et de quantifier, chez l'être humain, les molécules contenant des TPO.
