The invention is used in conjunction with the outer (red) piece of a poppy which has been obtained from the Royal Canadian Legion. The invention replaces the centre (green) piece and pin of the legion's poppy. It is manufactured by forming a material into the same shape of the green poppy centre and affixing it with a bondable material to a jewellery finding. The material used to create the invention may be painted or dyed to resemble the colour of the original centre (green) piece. A painted dot is placed in the centre of the invention to maintain the original appearance of a pin being present.
