A fire protecting structure of a channel portion of a plastic piping in a fire partition wherein the plas- tic piping is inserted in a through hole formed in the fire partition and the through hole is filled with a refractory material, wherein a support means having a region, which makes a refractory material to come in contact with the outer surface of the plastic piping, and portions for supporting an intumescent material, the support means being arranged around the plastic piping and the refractory material being filled in the region of the support means to come in contact with the outer surface of the plastic piping.
