A dielectric suspension (34) for use in an electrophoretic display, electrostatic printing or the like. comprising a suspension medium (28) including a dense fluorinated solvent and a less dense hydrocarbon solvent, a plurality of pig- ment particles (36) dispersed in the suspension medium (34), a fluid dye dissolved in the suspen- sion medium (34) for providing a contrast with the pigment particles (36), and a charge control agent (Fig. 2) adsorbed on the pigment particles (36) for preventing the pigment particles (36) from agglomerating.
Suspension diélectrique (34) destinée à être utilisée dans un affichage électrophorétique, une imprimante électrostatique ou similaire, comprenant un milieu de suspension (28) contenant un solvant fluoré dense et un solvant moins dense à base d'hydrocarbure, un ensemble de particules de pigments (36) dispersées dans le milieu de suspension (34), un colorant fluide dissous dans le milieu de suspension (34) pour produire un contraste avec les particules de pigments (36), et un agent régulateur de charge (fig. 2) adsorbé sur les particules de pigments (36) afin d'empêcher ces dernières de s'agglomérer.
