The invention provides a reinforcing corner post (16) suitable for use with a container comprising a foldable blank (15) having a base panel (10) and a pair of opposed side wall panels (11), and a pair of opposed end wall panels (12), the side wall panels and end wall panels being foldable into upright positions relative to the base panel to define opposed side walls and end walls with comers being formed at the junctions of the side walls and end walls, the reinforcing comer post being provided at all or selected comers of the container, wherein the corner post comprises an external post section (17) which embraces the comer, and an internal post section (18) which nests within the comer, and engaging means (19) for releasably coupling the external post section and internal post section to one another by longitudinal displacement of the external post section and internal post section relative to one another to an engaged position, and locking means for securing the inner post section and the outer post section in the engaged position.
La présente invention concerne un poteau cornier (16) de renfort dont l~usage convient à un contenant et qui comprend : une découpe pliable (15) possédant un panneau de base (10), une paire de panneaux (11) de parois de côtés opposés, et une paire de panneaux (12) de parois d~extrémités opposées, les panneaux de parois de côtés et les panneaux de parois d~extrémités pouvant être pliés en positions debout par rapport au panneau de base pour définir des parois de côtés opposés et des parois d~extrémités avec des coins formés aux jonctions des parois de côtés et des parois d~extrémités. Le poteau cornier de renfort ci-décrit est installé à tous les coins, ou à des coins sélectionnés, du contenant, le poteau cornier comprenant : une section (17) de poteau externe qui entoure le coin, une section (18) de poteau interne qui s~emboîte à l~intérieur du coin, un moyen de prise (19) servant à accoupler de manière amovible la section de poteau externe et la section de poteau interne l~une à l~autre par un déplacement longitudinal de la section de poteau externe et de la section de poteau interne l~une par rapport à l~autre vers une position de prise et des moyens de blocage pour fixer la section de poteau interne et la section de poteau externe en position de prise.
