The invention relates to phenyl-propargylether derivatives of the general formula I (see formula I) including the optical isomers thereof and mixtures of such isomers, wherein R1, is hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl or optionally substituted aryl, R2 and R3 are each independently hydrogen or alkyl, R4 is alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl, R5, R6, R7, and R8 are each independently hydrogen or alkyl, R9 is hydrogen, optionally substituted alkyl, optionally substituted alkenyl or optionally substituted alkynyl, R10 is optionally substituted aryl or optionally substituted heteroaryl and Z is optionally substituted aryloxy, optionally substituted alkoxy, optionally substituted alkenyloxy or optionally substituted alkynyloxy. These compounds possess useful plant protecting properties and may advantageously be employed in agricultural practice for controlling or preventing the infestation of plants by phytopathogenic microorganisms, especially fungi.

L'invention porte sur de nouveaux dérivés de phényl-propargyléther de formule générale (I) comprenant les isomères optiques de ceux-ci et des mélanges de ces isomères. Dans cette formule, R<sb>1</sb> représente hydrogène, alkyle, cycloalkyle ou aryle éventuellement substitué, R<sb>2</sb> et R<sb>3</sb> représentent indépendamment l'un de l'autre hydrogène ou alkyle, R<sb>4</sb> représente alkyle, alcényle ou alkynyle, R<sb>5</sb>, R<sb>6</sb>, R<sb>7</sb> et R<sb>8 </sb> représentent chacun indépendamment hydrogène ou alkyle, R<sb>9</sb> représente hydrogène, alkyle éventuellement substitué, alcényle éventuellement substitué ou alkynyle éventuellement substitué, R<sb>10</sb> représente éventuellement aryle ou hétéroaryle éventuellement substitué, et Z représente aryloxy éventuellement substitué, alkoxy éventuellement substitué, alcényloxy éventuellement substitué ou alkynyloxy éventuellement substitué. Ces composés possèdent des propriétés utiles pour les plantes et peuvent être utilisés de manière avantageuse en agriculture dans l'élimination ou la prévention de l'infestation des plantes par des micro-organismes phytopathogènes, notamment des champignons.
