A pharmaceutical composition includes a pharmaceutical polysaccharide and phenylephrine hydrochloride. The ra-tio of said polysaccharide to phenylephrine hydrochloride is sufficient to dilute the composition such that phenylephrine hy-drochloride is stable at high temperature and humidity.
