A method for washing collected blood uses an inert anticoagulant during collection of the blood. The inert anticoagulant does not interfere with agglomeration of the red blood cells so that gravity sedimentation separation is facilitated. The preferred inert anticoagulant is CPD.
L'invention concerne un procédé de lavage de sang prélevé, qui repose sur l'utilisation d'un anticoagulant inerte au cours du prélèvement. L'anticoagulant inerte n'interfère pas avec l'agrégation des globules rouges de façon à faciliter la séparation de sédimentation par gravité. L'anticoagulant inerte préféré est l'anticoagulant CPD (citrate, phosphate, dextrose).
