An improved hose is used to install loose fill insulation. The hose includes projections (140) extending from an inner surface which serve to condition the insulation as it proceeds through the hose and is dispensed. In a first embodiment of the present invention, the projections are formed so as to be perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the hose. In a second embodiment of the present invention, the projections (140') are formed so as to be angled, by an angle less than ninety (90) degrees with respect to the longitudinal axis of the hose. In a third embodiment of the present invention, the projections (141) are formed with a serrated edge. In a fourth embodiment of the present invention, the projections (142) are formed as part of a cap member which is disposed around the periphery of the hose.
L'invention concerne un tuyau flexible utilisé pour installer un isolant en vrac. Ce tuyau flexible présente des saillies s'étendant d'une surface interne servant à conditionner l'isolant à mesure qu'il est acheminé à travers le tuyau. Selon un premier mode de réalisation, les saillies sont formées de manière à être perpendiculaires à un axe longitudinal du tuyau flexible. Selon un second mode de réalisation, les saillies sont formées de manière à être inclinées selon un angle inférieur à 90 DEG par rapport à l'axe longitudinal du tuyau. Selon un troisième mode de réalisation, les saillies présentent un tranchant dentelé. Selon un quatrième mode de réalisation, les saillies font partie d'un élément capuchon entourant le pourtour du tuyau flexible.
