A selectively adjustable cincture comprising in combination an elongated, two-sided cinch strap having first and second ends. The first end is folded back along a portion of one side of the strap, adjacent the first end thereof, and is secured, at a plurality of axially spaced apart locations thereon, intermediate between said first and second ends to form a fixed- partitioned, doubled-back loop having one of at least two partitions located nearest the first end. This partition is arranged in inter-looped relation through a cinch ring. The second of the at least two partitions is located at a free end of ache loop. The cincture further includes respective lengths of mutually securable, complimentary hook and eye fabrics arranged along axial portions of at least a portion of one side of the strap, between the second end and the partition nearest the first end. The cincture is releasably securable with the second end passed through the cinch ring and the side having the fabric arranged thereon folded back on itself with respective portions of the complimentary lengths selectively aligned in axial register and in contactingly fixed, mutually opposed, removably secured relation. et R = (~10°, - 10
