A portable apparatus for crushing and straightening saw-blade teeth, including an assembly for the crushing and straightening, comprising a monocoque body frame having a plurality of hydro-pneumatic vices, fixed or interchangeable, an inclining anvil, adjustable by means of an adjusting screw, and dual-action switches. The vices consist of piston elements placed at one end of the body frame, and butting members placed at the opposite end, of which one of the piston-butting member pairs is placed close to the tooth to be crushed in order to support it without using the tightening screw, and the other pistons and butting members placed lengthwise relative to the body frame to exert the tightening force necessary for optimal crushing or straightening of the teeth, without leaving marks on the blade. The inclining anvil makes it possible to work the saw-blade teeth from the left or from the right towards the centre, thereby changing the lean of the blade teeth to straighten them. The dual-action switches, by means of an action simultaneously applied to the push-buttons integrating the apparatus' support handles, engages the actuating process and sets in motion the hydro-pneumatic operating cycle of the tightening system and of the crushing and straightening system, thereby helping to eliminate the risk of accidents caused by blade parts catching or by inattention.
Un appareil portatif à écraser et à redresser les dents de lames de scie, qui comprend un assemblage à écraser et à redresser composé d'un boîtier monocoque ayant plusieurs étaux de serrage hydropneumatiques, fixes ou interchangeables, une enclume profilée ajustable par deux (2) vis de réglage, et un interrupteur à circuit jumelé. Les étaux de serrage sont formés de pistons placés d'un côté du boîtier et de butoirs placés de l'autre côté, et dont l'un de ces pistons et butoirs est situé près de la dent à écraser pour la maintenir sans vis de serrage et les autres le long du boîtier, de façon à exercer le serrage nécessaire à un écrasement et à un redressement optimum des dents sans faire de marques sur la lame. L'enclume profilée donne la possibilité de travailler les dents de la lame de scie, de la gauche ou de la droite vers le centre, de façon à modifier l'inclinaison des dents de la lame pour ainsi redresser leur affaissement. L'interrupteur à circuit jumelé, par une action à être exercée simultanément sur les boutons à pression intégrés aux manettes de maintien de l'appareil enclenche le processus d'opération du cycle de travail hydropneumatique du système de serrage et du système d'écrasement et de redressement, ce qui contribue éliminer les risques d'accidents causés par accrochage ou inattention.
