A method for inspecting inferiority in shape of an object is provided, which is accomplished through an inspection image obtained from an inspection object. The object shape inferiority inspection method includes the steps of: preparing at least one reference image for judgement as to shape inferiority in the inspection object considering an allowable error for shape; obtaining the inspection image from the inspection object; comparing grayscales of each one part, at least, of portions where the reference image and the inspection image mutually correspond, and judging whether inferiority in shape of the inspection object exists, based on the result of the grayscale comparison. Accordingly, the time required for inspecting inferiority in shape of an object could be greatly reduced and shape inferiority over the entire area of an object can be detected.

L'invention concerne un procédé, permettant d'inspecter une anomalie dans la forme d'un objet, par inspection d'une image obtenue à partir d'un objet d'inspection. Ce procédé d'inspection consiste à préparer au moins une image de référence permettant de déterminer une anomalie de forme dans l'objet d'inspection, compte tenu d'une erreur possible de forme; à obtenir une image d'inspection à partir de l'inspection de l'objet; à comparer les niveaux de gris pour chaque partie, au moins pour les parties dans lesquelles l'image de référence et l'image d'inspection correspondent; et à déterminer s'il existe une anomalie dans la forme de l'objet d'inspection, en fonction du résultat de la comparaison des niveaux de gris. Le temps nécessaire à l'inspection d'une anomalie dans la forme d'un objet se trouve donc considérablement réduit, et il est possible de détecter une anomalie de forme sur la totalité de la surface d'un objet.
