A MWD/LWD bottom hole assembly including a housing and a window at the housing, the window being transmissive to the signal of at least one transceiver of a tool having a memory in operable communication with the transceiver, such that the signal is receivable outside of the housing through the window. A method for downloading MWD/LWD data to a surface computer. The method includes wirelessly communicating collected data from a MWD/LWD tool memory to a transceiver external to the tool; passing data through the external transceiver, the transceiver further transmitting the data; and receiving data at the surface computer.
L'invention concerne un ensemble de fond de puits MWD/LWD comprenant un boîtier et une fenêtre au niveau de ce boîtier, la fenêtre laissant passer le signal d'au moins un émetteur-récepteur d'un outil doté d'une mémoire en communication fonctionnelle avec l'émetteur-récepteur, de sorte que le signal puisse être reçu à l'extérieur du boîtier par l'intermédiaire de la fenêtre. L'invention concerne également un procédé de téléchargement de données MWD/LWD sur un ordinateur en surface. Ce procédé consiste à assurer la communication sans fil de données collectées entre une mémoire d'outil MWD/LWD et un émetteur-récepteur externe par rapport à l'outil, à faire passer les données à travers l'émetteur-récepteur externe, l'émetteur-récepteur assurant alors une transmission supplémentaire des données, et à recevoir les données au niveau de l'ordinateur en surface.
