A disc cartridge comprises a cartridge main body rotatably accommodating an optical disc which has a magnetic member attached to a central portion of one of major surfaces of a disc substrate, and means provided on the inner surface of said cartridge main body for keeping clearance between the inner surface of said cartridge main body axed a protuberance produced by attaching said magnetic member to said one of the major surfaces of said disc substrate.
