A method for constructing a male sterile plant by using a plant expression cassette containing nucleic acids which are DNAs encoding zinc finger transcriptional factors originating in petunia (ZPT2-5, ZPT3-1 and ZPT4-1) and a promoter ligated to these nucleic acids in such a manner as allowing the operation thereof. A method for constructing a transformed plant by using a plant expression cassette containing promoters originating in the ZPT3-1 and ZPT4-1 genes and a foreign gene ligated to these promoters in such a manner as allowing the operation thereof.
L'invention porte sur un procédé d'élaboration d'une plante mâle stérile au moyen d'une cassette d'expression contenant des acides nucléiques qui sont des ADN codant des facteurs de transcription à doigt de zinc provenant du pétunia (ZPT2-5, ZPT3-1 et ZPT4-1) et d'un promoteur ligaturé à ces acides nucléiques de manière à faciliter son fonctionnement. L'invention porte également sur un procédé d'élaboration d'une plante transformée au moyen d'une cassette d'expression contenant des promoteurs provenant des gènes ZPT3-1 et ZPT 4-1 et d'un gène étranger ligaturé à ces promoteurs de manière à faciliter son fonctionnement.
