The invention discloses the Neisseria meningitidis NMASP polypeptide, polypeptides derived therefrom (NMASP-derived polypeptides), nucleotide sequences encoding said polypeptides, and antibodies that specifically bind the NMASP polypeptide and/or NMASP-derived polypeptides. Also disclosed are prophylactic or therapeutic compositions, including immunogenic compositions, e.g., vaccines, comprising NMASP polypeptide and/or a NMASP-derived polypeptide. The invention additionally discloses methods of inducing an immune response to Neisseria meningitidis and Neisseria meningitidis NMASP polypeptide and a NMASP-derived polypeptide in animals.
La présente invention se rapporte au polypeptide NMASP Neisseria meningitidis, à des polypeptides tirés de celui-ci (polypeptides tirés de NMASP), à des séquences nucléotidiques codant ces polypeptides, ainsi qu'à des anticorps qui se lient spécifiquement au polypeptide NMASP et/ou aux polypeptides tirés de NMASP. Par ailleurs, cette invention se rapporte à des compositions prophylactiques ou thérapeutiques, notamment des compositions immunogènes, par exemple des vaccins, renfermant le polypeptide NMASP et/ou un polypeptide tiré de NMASP. En outre, cette invention se rapporte à des procédés induisant chez des animaux une réponse immunologique au Neisseria meningitidis et au polypeptide NMASP Neisseria meningitidis, ainsi qu'à un polypeptide tiré de NMASP.
