The invention pertains to the field of displaying, onboard an aircraft, geostationary members of the navigation database onto a screen having different display resolutions for data display, and relates to a method for simplifying the display of stationary members of said onboard database. The method is characterised in that it comprises precalculating a clutter cleaning during the production process of the onboard database by mapping the Earth with a Cartesian grid oriented along the Earth's latitudes and longitudes and by displaying only the most relevant obstacle in each rectangle of said grid.
L'invention se situe dans le domaine de l'affichage à bord d'un aéronef des éléments géostationnaires de Ia base de données de navigation sur un écran possédant différentes résolutions d'affichage en vue de cet affichage de données, et elle a pour objet un procédé de simplification de l'affichage d'éléments stationnaires de cette base de données embarquée. Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'il consiste à précalculer un " nettoyage de fouillis " lors du processus de production de la base de données embarquée en maillant la Terre avec une grille cartésienne orientée selon les latitudes et longitudes terrestres, et en ne laissant apparaître dans chaque rectangle de cette grille que l'obstacle le plus pertinent.
