TERMINATING AND SPLICING ELECTRICAL CONDUCTORS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A metallic, electrical conductor is heated from one end to form a molten mass, the heating being continued for a period of time to enable the combined forces of surface tension to shape the molten mass into an enlarged, pear-shaped nodule. The molten nodule may be plunged into a confronting molten mass to form a splice or the molten nodule may be solidified and subsequently shaped to form a terminal integral with the conductor.
