Disclosed is a method of fabricating a diffraction grating on an optical waveguide, comprising the steps of preparing an optical waveguide, and irradiating a light on the optical waveguide through a hologram pattern so as to project diffractive light caused by the hologram pattern on the optical waveguide, thereby forming areas of which refractive index corresponds to an intensity of the refractive light to be projected on the optical waveguide.
