ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A two-piece, generally tamper-proof protective conduit for electrical wires or cables is provided herein. The conduit includes a generally rectangular but U-shaped, longitudinally- extending profile. The inner faces at the terminal ends of the legs of the "U" are each provided with an associated one of a pair of opposed lateral internal, longitudinally-extending lips. A longitudinally-extending cover plate for the profile is provided, the cover plate having a pair of laterally-facing, longitudinally-extending stepped shoulders, each shoulder terminating in a respective projecting, generally semi-circular in cross-section, longitudinally-extending flexural wall.
