An apparatus is provided for holding fluid produced during a drilling operation and for combusting gas that may be associated with or become separated from said fluid. The apparatus comprise a holding tank having at least one fluid inlet and at least one gas outlet. Combustion means, associated with said gas outlet, are provided for igniting any gas discharged through said outlet. Additional apparatus and method aspects are also provided.
