An apparatus for creating a multi-colored illuminated waterfall includes a waterfall vessel (12), a clear tube (24) disposed within the vessel, LED bulbs (30) mounted on a circuit board strip (28) which is disposed within the clear tube (24) and a controller circuit (32) which sequentially activates predetermined arrays of different colored LED bulbs. The waterfall vessel (12) has baffles (54) for suppressing turbulence and optional reflective film for enhancing emitted light in a third branch of a tee. A rectifier circuit (34) is included to convert a 12 volt ac circuit to a 12 volt do circuit and a transformer (40) reduces a 110 volt ac power source to a 12 volt ac supply. In an embodiment for a water fountain, the circuit board strip (28) with the LED bulbs (30) are instead disposed within a branch of a tee with a clear lens separating the LED bulbs from the water flow portion of the tee. Water flows into a second branch of the tee and out the third branch of the tee through a discharge tube with a swivel connection at the third branch of the tee to direct the discharge tube through an aperture in a facade.
Appareil permettant de créer une chute d'eau illuminée à plusieurs couleurs, qui comporte un récipient (12) à chute d'eau, un tube transparent (24) placé dans ladite cuve, des ampoules DEL (30) montées sur une bande (28) à circuits imprimés placée dans le tube transparent (24) et un circuit de commande (32) activant de manière séquentielle des groupes prédéterminés d'ampoules DEL de différentes couleurs. La cuve (12) à chute d'eau possède des chicanes (54) destinées à supprimer la turbulence et éventuellement un film réflecteur destiné à améliorer la lumière émise dans une troisième patte d'un té. Un circuit redresseur (34) est destiné à convertir un circuit CA de 12 volts en un circuit CC de 12 volts et un transformateur (40) réduit une source de puissance CA de 110 volts en une alimentation CA de 12 volts. Dans un mode de réalisation pour une fontaine, la bande (28) à circuits imprimés dotée des ampoules DEL (30) est disposée dans une patte d'un té, une lentille transparente séparant les ampoules DEL de la partie à écoulement d'eau du té. L'eau coule dans une deuxième branche du té et sort de la troisième branche du té par un tube d'évacuation doté d'un raccord pivotant au niveau de la troisième branche du té pour diriger le tube d'évacuation vers une ouverture ménagée dans une façade.
