The present invention relates to cosmetic compositions and methods of using such compositions that improve the aesthetic appearance of skin. Further, the present invention relates to methods of applying the compositions to the skin to effect an improvement in the aesthetic appearance of skin, particularly, by providing an anti-aging benefit to the skin. These and other objects of the present invention are achieved by a method and composition that comprises (a) an anti-aging agent in an amount effective to prevent, treat, reduce, and/or ameliorate the various signs of aging at an area of skin to which it is applied, and (b) a cosmetically or pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle. Suitable anti-aging agents include 3,3-thiodipropionic acid and/or its derivatives.
La présente invention concerne des compositions cosmétiques et des procédés d'utilisation desdites compositions destinées à améliorées l'apparence esthétique de la peau. La présente invention concerne également des procédés d'application desdites compositions sur la peau afin d'améliorer l'apparence esthétique de la peau, en particulier en luttant contre le vieillissement de la peau. Les objectifs de la présente invention sont atteints grâce à un procédé et à une composition contenant (a) un agent anti-vieillissement en quantité efficace pour prévenir, traiter, réduire, et/ou améliorer les signes divers du vieillissement sur une partie de la peau sur laquelle elle est appliquée, et (b) un excipient acceptable d'un point de vue cosmétique ou pharmaceutique. Les agents anti-vieillissement adaptés contiennent un acide thiodipropionique 3,3' et/ou ses dérivés.
