At the base of the structure is a pan that catches any drips of paint that may drip from the gallon that sits above into This pan slides in and out from the base of the holder and is held in place by a clip. The can of paint sits in its holder above the pan. It is all one attached unit. The holder consists of a base, sides and a ring that surrounds the gallon of paint, Attached to the ring is a handle that can be used to carry the entire unit with the paint inside of it.
