The invention concerns dyeing agents for keratinous fibers based on a developer-coupler combination, characterized in that they contain at least a 3- aminophenol derivative of formula (I) or a salt thereof, water-soluble and physiologically compatible, formula wherein: R1 represents a radical of formula (II) or a radical of formula (III), wherein: X1, X2, X3, X4 and X5 represent, independently of one another, a nitrogen or a C-R group, provided that at least one, or not more than three, of the radicals X are a nitrogen. The invention also concerns novel 3-aminophenol derivatives.

L'invention concerne des agents de coloration de fibres kératiniques à base d'une combinaison développeur-copulant, caractérisés en ce qu'ils renferment au moins un dérivé de 3-aminophénol de formule (I) ou un sel de celui-ci, soluble dans l'eau et physiologiquement compatible, formule dans laquelle R1 désigne un reste de formule (II) ou un reste de formule (III) dans laquelle X¿1?, X¿2?, X¿3?, X¿4? et X¿5? désignent, indépendamment l'un de l'autre, un azote ou un groupe C-R, à condition qu'au moins un, ou trois au maximum, des restes X soient un azote. L'invention concerne également de nouveaux dérivés de 3-aminophénol.
