Means and apparatus for use in a vibratory device such as an article feeder. Said apparatus including a housing (10) having changeable side plates (44, 46) selectable from a group of side plates of different mass in order to allow mass adjustment of the article feeder driving mass dependent on driven mass requirements. The vibratory device may also be associated with at least another vibratory device in either tandem or siamised configurations by side plate selection.
