The present invention provides a plasmid characterized by having the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1, a plasmid characterized by having the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2, a plasmid characterized by having at least a part of the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 1 and 2 and further containing a selective marker gene, each plasmid being suitable for use as a transformation vector for effecting gene manipulation in ammonia oxidizing bacteria, and transformants characterized in that they are obtained by transferring these plasmids into host organisms.

L'invention concerne un plasmide caractérisé en ce qu'il présente la séquence de base représentée par SEQ ID NO:1; un plasmide caractérisé en ce qu'il présente la séquence de base représentée par SEQ ID NO:2, un plasmide caractérisé en ce qu'il présente au moins une partie des séquences de base représentées par SEQ ID NO:1 et SEQ ID NO:2 et contenant un gel marqueur sélectif, chaque plasmide étant utilisable en tant que vecteur de transformation, etc., pour effectuer une manipulation de gènes dans des bactéries oxydant le gaz ammoniaque; ainsi que des transformants, etc., caractérisés en ce qu'ils sont préparés par introduction de ces plasmides dans des hôtes.
