A dynamic transaction network having a management station, a terminal, and a database. In response to a transaction request from a caller, the terminal accesses information stored in the database via transportable logic. The transportable logic derives the location of relevant information in the database array from input characteristic(s) of the transaction request. The transportable logic stored in the terminal is updated with transportable logic stored in the management station if the terminal determines that there is a difference between its transportable logic and the management station's transportable logic. Some differences may include a change in the number of databases on the network, a change in the number of terminals on the network, or a change in the location of the information stored on the database.
La présente invention concerne un réseau de transactions dynamique comportant un poste de gestion, un terminal, et une base de données. En réponse à une demande de transaction émise par un appelant, le terminal accède aux informations mémorisées dans la base de données via une logique transportable. Cette logique transportable trouve l'emplacement des informations pertinentes dans la matrice de la base de données à partir de la/des caractéristique(s) d'entrée de la demande de transaction. La logique de transaction mémorisée dans le terminal est mise à jour avec une logique transportable mémorisée dans le poste de gestion, si le terminal détermine qu'il y' a une différence entre ses logiques transportables et la logique transportable du poste de gestion. Quelques différences peuvent comprendre un changement dans le nombre des bases de données dans le réseau, un changement dans le nombre de terminaux du réseau, ou encore un changement dans l'emplacement des informations mémorisées dans la base de données.
