Method and arrangement for providing selective access to a security system (6), in particular, a payment system involving a debit or credit card, or transfer of money values using an electronic card (1) such as a smart card. The system (6) comprises at least one first device (7) and at least one second device (8) which have to be matched to obtain access. Such access is obtained by verification that a cryptographic key (K2) contained in the second device (8) is recognized as being valid by the first device (7) after being compared with a key (K1) belonging to the latter.
Procédé et agencement pour donner sélectivement un accès dans un système de sécurité (6), notamment dans un système de payement par carte de débit, de crédit, ou par prélèvement de valeurs monétaires contenues dans une carte (1) dite intelligente, en particulier une carte à puce, le système (6) comportant au moins un premier dispositif (7) et au moins un second dispositif (8) qui doivent être mis en correspondance pour obtenir l'accès et l'accès étant obtenu par vérification de ce qu'une clé cryptographique (K2) que comporte le second dispositif (8) est reconnue comme étant valide par le premier dispositif (7), après une comparaison à une clé (K1) que ce dernier comporte.
