A microorganism capable producing a substance FKI-1033 represented by the following formula: is cultured in a medium to accumulate the FKI-1033 in the culture medium and then the FKI-1033 is collected from the culture medium. Because of having ryanodine antagonism, insecticidal activity and anti- parasitic worm activity, the thus obtained FKI-1033 is expected as being useful as a chemical having satisfactory efficaciousness, toxicity, etc. and being applicable to pesticides, veterinary medicines and medicines.

L'invention porte sur un micro-organisme capable de produire une substance FKI-1033 représentée par la formule générale (I). Le micro-organisme est mis en culture dans un milieu où la substance FKI-1033 peut s'accumuler et être ensuite récupérée. Du fait qu'elle possède un antagonisme de ryanodine, une activité insecticide et une activité antiparasitaire, la substance FKI-1033 ainsi obtenue s'avère être utile comme produit chimique dont l'efficacité, la toxicité et autre sont satisfaisantes, et peut s'appliquer à des pesticides, des médicaments vétérinaires et autres médicaments.
