There is provided a cooking device that includes a food receiver to expose food to radiant heat from above within the confines of a drip receiving pan. The drip receiving pan is a liquid impermeable container having upright sides and a bottom. The food receiver is a multi-apertured planar surface supported on the container bottom with the support being downturned flanges carrying several spacer-supports. The spacer-supports raise the planar surface above the bottom allowing hot convection currents to assist in the cooking from below while the spacing aspect centers the planar surface to ensure that drippings can exit on all sides evenly to reach the bottom of the container or drip pan. The planar surface also includes finger size apertures to enable its easy removal from the pan. Downturned manipulating handles are provided on the pan exterior. The cooking device is made of nickel plated steel to ensure ease of cleaning and for health considerations.
