Platform flooring for scaffolding should be designed so that it is as light as possible, can be produced from only a few components, is effective in use and can be securely assembled. In addition, its width should be variable. The invention calls for the platform flooring to be made of extruded-drawn hollow sections (1) which are connected to each other along the edges by a groove-and- tongue joint (11, 14). Also included in the system are hollow-section edging sections (1', 1") which make a specially designed support section unnecessary.
