The design of a rotary cutter-auger uncapper and the process of uncapping honey frames without their removal from honey supers. It comprises rotating, cutter-augers or bits that remove cappings from honey combs when inserted down and across in the direction parallel to the frames containing the honey combs. Traditional uncapping devices require that all honey frames be removed prior to the uncapping of wax and extraction of honey. The rotary cutter-auger uncapper is designed to work using standard Langstroth supers consisting of 10 self-spacing frames with modified top bars.
