ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A data write device wherein a control circuit is pro- vided between a plurality of optical disk drives installed in the data write device and an interface circuit for con- necting the data write device to external host computers, which writes data from one of the host computers to said plurality of optical disk drives simultaneously, thereby to shorten the time to write the same data from the host com- puter to a plurality of the optical disk drives.
