This invention provides novel reagents for the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals useful as imaging agents for the diagnosis of cardiovascular disorders, infection, inflammation and cancer, diagnostic kits comprising said reagents and intermediate compounds useful for the preparation of said reagents. The reagents are comprised of stable hydrazone modified biologically active molecules that react with gamma emitting radioisotopes to form radiopharmaceuticals that selectively localize at sites of diseases and thus allow an image to be obtained of the loci using gamma scintigraphy.

L'invention concerne de nouveaux réactifs destinés à la préparation de produits radiopharmaceutiques utiles en tant qu'agents d'imagerie servant au diagnostic de troubles cardio-vasculaires, de l'infection, de l'inflammation et du cancer; elle concerne également des kits de diagnostic comprenant ces réactifs, ainsi que des composés intermédiaires utiles dans la préparation desdits réactifs, lesquels sont composés de molécules stables, actives biologiquement, modifiées par hydrazone et réagissant avec les radio-isotopes émettant un rayonnement gamma, afin de former des produits radiopharmaceutiques qui se placent de manière sélective au niveau de sites de maladies et permettent ainsi d'obtenir une image de ces sites par scintigraphie à rayonnement gamma.
