A process for the production of ethanol utilizes a vacuum process and selectively permeable membranes to increase ethanol production efficiency. Yeast converts sugars to ethanol in an anaerobic condition within process chamber void of oxygen and filled with a Nitrogen gas (N2) or any non-oxygen containing gas. A glucose solution is fed into the process chamber to a yeast solution to ferment. A selectively permeable membrane filters ethanol away from the yeast and out of the process chamber. The removal of ethanol from the process chamber keeps the yeast alive to constantly produce ethanol.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de production d'éthanol mettant un AEuvre un traitement sous vide et des membranes sélectivement perméables pour accroître l'efficacité de la production d'éthanol. De la levure convertit des sucres en éthanol dans un état aérobie dans une chambre de traitement sans oxygène et remplie d'un azote gazeux (N2) ou tout autre gaz ne contenant pas d'oxygène. Une solution de glucose est alimentée dans la chambre de traitement à une solution de levure pour la fermentation. Une membrane sélectivement perméable filtre l'éthanol à partir de la levure et hors de la chambre de traitement. L'extraction d'éthanol de la chambre de traitement maintient la levure vivante pour la production constante d'éthanol.
