An unsaturated copolymer based on olefin which is superior in the dynamic fatigue resistance (flexural fatigue resistance), weatherability, fastness to ozone, stability in thermal aging and exhibits also superior performances in the chemical reactivity, in the processibility and in the compatibility as well as co-vulcanizability with aromatic ring-containing resins, such as styrene-butatiene rubber (SBR) etc., and is useful for materials of various rubber products and as modifier for resin products is proposed, said copolymer comprising a structural unit derived from an .alpha. - olefin having 2 - 20 carbon atoms in a proportion of 30 - 99.8 mole %, a structural unit derived from an aromatic ring-containing vinyl monomer in a proportion of 0.1 - 60 mole % and a structural unit derived from a chain-formed non-conjugated triene or tetraene having in the molecule one vinyl group in a proportion of 0.1 - 10 mole % and said copolymer having an intrinsic viscosity determined in decalin at 135°C of 0.05 - 10 dl/g.
n propose un copolymère insaturé à base d'oléfine qui est supérieur du point de vue de la résistance à la fatigue dynamique (résistance à la fatigue de flexion), de la résistance aux intempéries, de la résistance à l'ozone, de la stabilité au vieillissement thermique, et qui présente un rendement supérieur en ce qui concerne la réactivité chimique, la faculté de mise en oeuvre et la compatibilité ainsi que la possibilité de co-vulcanisation avec les résines contenant des noyaux aromatiques, comme le styrène-butatiène (SBR), etc.; ce copolymère est utile pour la fabrication de divers produits caoutchouteux et comme modificateur pour les produits en résine; ledit copolymère comprend un motif dérivé d'une alpha-oléfine possédant de 2 à 20 atomes de carbone dans une proportion de 30 - 99,8 %, en pourcentage molaire, un motif dérivé d'un monomère vinylique contenant un noyau aromatique dans une proportion de 0,1 - 60 %, en pourcentage molaire, et un motif dérivé d'un triène ou tétraène non conjugué linéaire dont la molécule contient un groupe vinyle dans une proportion de 0,1 - 10 %, en pourcentage molaire, et ledit copolymère ayant un indice limite de viscosité de 0,05 - 10 dl/g déterminé dans la décaline à 135 degrés C.
