An orally deliverable pharmaceutical composition is provided comprising a drug of low water solubility and a solvent liquid that comprises at least one pharmaceutically acceptable solvent, at least one pharmaceutically acceptable fatty acid and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable organic amine, wherein (a) a substantial portion, for example at least about 15% by weight, of the drug is in dissolved or solubilized form in the solvent liquid, and (b) the fatty acid and the organic amine are present in total and relative amounts such that the composition is finely self-emulsifiable in simulated gastric fluid.
L'invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique distribuée oralement comprenant un médicament faiblement soluble dans l'eau et un solvant liquide qui renferme au moins un solvant, un acide gras et une amine organique pharmaceutiquement acceptables. Dans cette composition a) une partie substantielle, par exemple, au moins environ 15% en poids du médicament se présente sous forme dissoute ou solubilisée dans le solvant liquide, et b) l'acide gras et l'amine organique sont présents en quantités totale et relative de sorte que ladite composition est finement auto-émulsionnable dans un fluide gastrique simulé.
