New compositions for and methods of treating ocular hypertension provide for effective treatment of ocular hypertension often using reduced concentrations of active components. Such compositions include a timolol component and a hypotensive lipid component. The present compositions and methods are relatively straightforward, can be easily produced, for example, using conventional manufacturing techniques, and can be easily and conveniently practiced, for example, using application or administration techniques or methodologies which are substantially similar to those employed with prior compositions used to treat ocular hypertension.
Cette invention concerne de nouvelles compositions ainsi que des méthodes de traitement de l'hypertension oculaire constituant un traitement efficace de l'hypertension oculaire utilisant souvent des concentrations réduites de composants actifs. Ces compositions comprennent un composant de timolol ainsi qu'un composant de lipide hypotenseur. Ces compositions et ces méthodes sont relativement directes et peuvent être obtenues facilement, à l'aide notamment de techniques de fabrication conventionnelles, et peuvent être utilisées facilement et sans inconvénient, par exemple au moyen de techniques d'application ou d'administration ou de méthodologies qui sont sensiblement semblables à celles mises en oeuvre avec de précédentes compositions utilisées pour traiter l'hypertension oculaire.
