A system for tissue apposition includes a delivery assem-bly having a tissue clip selectively se-cured thereto for the deployment and application of the tissue clip. The tis-sue clip is shaped and dimensioned for engaging spaced locations along a span of tissue and upon rotation thereof drawing the spaced locations together into apposition to thereby create a fold of tissue.
