The invention relates to a knot in a first and a second rope, each rope having a left and a right end, between which is a turning point, characterised in that, at the turning points, the first and the second rope cross both ends of the second, on one side, and of the first rope, on the other side, respectively, the left and right end of each rope forming an intersection after the turning points and the knot between the intersections comprising at least four crossings of the two ropes. The invention also relates to a method for making the knot and to the use of the knot in fishing nets. In particular, the invention relate to HPPE fishing nets comprising knots according to the invention.

L'invention concerne un noeud réalisé dans une première et une deuxième corde, chaque corde comportant une extrémité gauche et droite, entre lesquelles est situé un point tournant. Ladite invention est caractérisée en ce que, au niveau des points tournants, la première et la deuxième corde croisent respectivement les deux extrémités de la deuxième corde d'un côté, et de la première corde de l'autre côté, les extrémités gauche et droite de chaque corde formant une intersection après les points tournants, et le noeud entre les intersections comprenant au moins quatre croisements des deux cordes. L'invention concerne également un procédé destiné à réaliser ce noeud et l'utilisation de ce noeud dans des filets de pêche. En particulier, cette invention concerne des filets de pêche HPPE comprenant les noeuds selon l'invention.
