ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A handle is disclosed having a hand grip portion as well as a hook-like depending member defining an area on which the handles of a plurality of shopping bags may be supported. A latch mechanism is provided to retain the handles in place and the latch mechanism may be suitably actuated to allow the handles to be released. The latch mechanism is spring biased in a direction preventing removal of the handles.
