To provide an air filter that does not cause holding members to peel even in a high temperature envi- ronment, and which can be produced quickly and easily. An air filter (10) comprises a filter member (12), hold- ing members (14) disposed at both longitudinal side edges of the filter member (12), and non-woven fab- ric members (16) for fixing the filter member (12) and the holding mem- bers (14). The filter member (12) comprises a non-woven fabric of ther- moplastic microfibers. The holding members (14) have a bending resis- tance sufficient to maintain its shape and hold the filter member (12) in its pleated state. The non-woven fab- ric members (16) have a heat resis- tance with a melting point not lower than 90 °C and a temporary fixing ability capable of being disposed at the edge portions of the filter mem- ber (12) without using a jig.

L'invention concerne un filtre à air ne provoquant pas le décollement des éléments de fixation même à température élevée et qu'on peut fabriquer rapidement et facilement. Le filtre à air (10) comprend un élément de filtration (12), des éléments de fixation (14) situés sur les deux bords latéraux de la longueur de l'élément de filtration (12) et des éléments (16) en non-tissé servant à fixer l'élément de filtration (12) et les éléments de fixation (14). L'élément de filtration (12) comprend un non-tissé en microfibres thermoplastiques. Les éléments de fixation (14) possèdent une résistance à l'incurvation suffisante pour conserver leur forme et maintenir l'élément de filtration (12) en état plissé.
