2148135 9409853 PCTABS00032 Apparatus for training muscles in the back, stomach, arms and shoulders, consisting of two equally dimensioned parallely disposed and coaxial rings (1) which are fixedly connected with a support frame (2) which are shaped to be supported on a base (fundament), e.g. a floor. A frame formed swing (4, 5, 6) which in the lower end has a foot rest (7) with at locking device (23, 24) for the feet of the user is supported at the centre of the rings. A fixing device (15-21, 25-28) for the waist of the user is arranged close to the axis of rotation of the swing. In use the rings (1) serve as a handrail, and the rings and the frame are preferably formed of pipes. The swing is shaped as a U-formed frame (4, 5, 6) which length is adjustable (8). The fixing device for the waist of the user consists of a back support (16, 26, 28) and a front support (5, 17-20) on each side of the rotational axis of the swing. The distance of the back support and front support to the axis of rotation is adjustable (27, 29), whereby the user can be strapped in such a way that his centre of gravity approximately will be kept in the axis of rotation when the swing is rotating 360·.
