Vascular retractor assemblies and methods for retracting and maintaining a subcutaneous working space at a surgical site are disclosed, the assemblies including an external frame, a retractor pad assembly including a retractor pad configured and dimensioned to contact a surface of the surgical site, an adjustment mechanism and at least one port provided in the lower surface of the retractor pad. The at least one port is preferably in fluid communication with communication with the surface of the surgical site. In one embodiment, the at least one port is in fluid communication with a source of medical adhesive for adhering or creating a bond between the surface of the surgical site to the retractor pad. In another embodiment, the at least one port is in fluid communication with a source of vacuum for selectively adhering or creating a bond between the surface of the surgical site to the retractor pad.
L'invention concerne des ensembles écarteurs vasculaires et des méthodes d'écartement et de maintient d'un espace de travail sous-cutané au niveau d'un champ opératoire. Ces ensembles comprennent une structure externe, un ensemble tampon pour écarteur comprenant un tampon pour écarteur ayant une forme et des dimensions prévues pour entrer en contact avec une surface du champ opératoire, un mécanisme de réglage et au moins une ouverture située au niveau de la surface inférieure du tampon pour écarteur. Cette ouverture est de préférence en communication fluidique avec la surface du champ opératoire. Dans un mode de réalisation, l'ouverture est en communication fluidique avec une source d'adhésif médical permettant de coller ou de créer une liaison entre la surface du champ opératoire et le tampon pour écarteur. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, l'ouverture est en communication fluidique avec une source de dépression permettant, sélectivement, de coller ou de créer une liaison entre la surface du champ opératoire et le tampon pour écarteur.
