A vacuum particulate transfer apparatus is disclosed which employs a belt conveyor discharge rather than a conventional mechanical discharge auger. This handles products passing through the device more gently than prior art devices employing augers or other discharge apparatus and as such will have brought application in areas where particulate material was heretofore too fragile for handling by a vacuum transfer apparatus with a mechanical auger discharge.
