A method and apparatus are provided for processing an E-mail message in an automatic call processor. The method includes the steps of determining a telephone number of a sender of the E-mail message, setting-up a call connection between the automatic call distributor (10) and sender of the E- mail message based upon the determined telephone number and delivering the call connection to an agent (26) of the call distributor.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil pour traiter un message de courrier électronique dans un processeur d'appels automatiques. Ce procédé consiste à déterminer un numéro de téléphone de l'émetteur du message électronique, et à établir une connexion d'appel entre le distributeur (10) d'appels automatiques et l'émetteur du message électronique en fonction du numéro de téléphone déterminé. Enfin, ce procédé consiste à assurer la connexion de l'appel vers l'agent (26) du distributeur d'appels.
